How To Wipe Your BlackBerry Smart Phone

Many times you will want to wipe your BlackBerry smart phone, we run into this when experiencing problems during activation but also if you sell or dispose of your BlackBerry phone you'll want to wipe the device for security.  Wiping your BlackBerry is especially helpful when re-activating a BlackBerry for some reason it clears up the odd issues that can come up when an activation fails or hangs. 

• To Wipe Your BlackBerry:

• Click the Options icon (Looks like a wrench)

• Click Security Options

• Click General Settings

• Click your Menu button on the phone (Looks like many dots.)

• Click Wipe Handheld on the menu to wipe the BlackBerry.

• Click Continue and type BlackBerry when prompted.

• This WILL erase all your BlackBerry data.
